Many times, when people pray for healing, we pray for ourselves.
There is nothing wrong with this.
Sometimes, we simply say, “Dear God, please help me!”
The best prayers for healing include the world.
That is because you can not heal yourself without affecting everyone in your consciousness.
And that affects the world.
You affect them. They affect you. And, at some level, you begin to recognize that we are all one.
In Reiki, we conclude our prayers for healing by saying:
I pray for everyone in our consciousness, and for peace on earth.
