Ask To See With Your Soul

"Ask To See With Your Soul"

Many times we hope to gain deeper insight but the ego stops us.

The truth is that the world most of us experience is the drama we project from inside of us to the outside.

Our inner experience plays the role of movie projector and the outer macrocosm becomes the screen.

If you feel confused and want to know how you really feel inside, ask yourself, “What do I notice most often in life around me?”

When we feel angry, we look outside ourselves and discover 100 new reasons to be angry.

When grief engulfs us, the world plays tragedy for us.

When fear shakes us, nothing outside anywhere looks secure. The stock market tumbles, the news reinforces our uncertainty. Nobody can really be trusted.

At times like this, viewing life from our inner movie projected outwards, it’s so easy for us to lose hope.

And yet somewhere inside, despite the anger, the grief and the anxiety, you always have hope.

You can ask to see with your soul.

Here is a simple prayer you can say:

“Dear God,

Thank you so much for the gift of my life.

Thank you for the privilege of being in this body in this lifetime.

Thank you for all my blessings, even if I am having trouble seeing or experiencing the depth and fullness of all of them at this time.

Please help me now to see with my soul.

Give me the courage, the insight and the willingness to access the wisdom of my eternal being.

Please guide me so that I experience the beauty and wonder of this life you have blessed me with.

I now surrender my will to your will God.

Please help me to set aside my ego mind so that I may know what You would have me know God.

Please wipe away my troubled emotions so that I may feel what You would have me feel God.

Please tune my hearing so that I may hear the highest and best vibrations.

Please open my vision far and wide so that I may see with the true depth and detail that you would have me see God.

Thank you for blessing me with this new vision, so that I may know, feel, fear and see from the highest possible perspective.

Make me your servant in all ways.

I now align my will to Your will.

Please guide me in every aspect of my life so that I may bring out the best in myself and all others.

Thank you God, thank you God, thank you God.

Amen.”

As you begin to see with your soul, you open up your highest intuitive gifts.

You know, you feel, you hear and you see how the cosmos blesses everyone as it unfolds.

Often when we see from this higher perspective, the truth reveals that all along life has actually always been the opposite of what we experienced: guided, loved unconditionally and never actually alone.

Many people think that opening your intuition is about acquiring special powers.

More likely, seeing with your soul will bless you with greater capacity for awe and wonder, for joy and for appreciation of all the quiet miracles that happen all around us every day when we stop to look and admire.

Open your intuition and reveal the joy of your life to yourself and all others!

  1. So well said Catherine !
    Thank you for sharing –
You are a light on the path of life

    • Thank you so much for reading my blog Jackie! I photographed this gorgeous butterfly in my front garden and knew he deserved a really good blog to go along with his photo. I stayed in bed this morning praying until I received the insight about what to write about. Thank you for enjoying! Love and light, Catherine

  2. This is one of the most powerful messages I have come across in a long time and one that the entire world needs to read. Thank you SO much Catherine! You unknowingly infused me with some much needed positive energy and healing.

    • Dear Sarah, Thank you so much for reading my blog! I am so happy that this message brought light into your soul! I am always carrying around my iPhone so that I can snap photographs whenever I see beauty in the world. I felt so excited to see this gorgeous butterfly fluttering around in my front garden! He flapped his wings so rapidly I feared I would not be able to capture his magnificence properly. Suddenly he paused to take a drink of the flower! I was elated! I prayed that I would be able to write a blog worthy of conveying the message of this amazing Swallowtail Butterfly. Sending you love and light, Catherine

  3. Beautiful!

  4. I know I am caught daily between what I call the ‘Shmeegle voice (of which I tell to go sit over to the left in a time-out corner and pout if it needs to) and with what I’m wondering might be a lighter or evolved perspective to get past my pettiness. This is a super great intention, which I see as practical and, of course, inspiring. Thank you for always articulating the thing I’m trying to figure out. Thanks, man!

    • Thank you so much for reading my blog! I think all of us need to create a space to allow our guidance to drop in. When we are so busy getting and spending (Wordsworth said the world is too much with us), it’s hard for us to hear what our soul is longing to reveal to us. I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts. Love and light, Catherine Carrigan
