“If you judge people you have no time to love them.” Mother Theresa

Every thought you think, every emotion you feel, creates your body chemistry that in turn either builds your health and well being or leads to the destruction of your body, mind and life.

Over the past two years, it’s become almost fashionable to hate.

Our divisions feel sharper than ever.

We feel entitled to hate people who think, look, feel, or act differently than we do.

The Republicans hate the Democrats.

The Democrats hate the Republicans.

The anti-vaxxers hate the vaccinated.

The vaccinated hate the anti-vaxxers.

It’s not enough to have to disagree. We hate them. After all they are ruining our (fill in the blank) society, health, economy, world, etc. etc. etc.

And of course I could go on.

About a year ago before the last election I put a sign in my yard showing all colors of people that said “All Lives Matter” but it got torn down in a day somebody hated that sign so much.

“There is a blue one who can’t accept

The green one for living with

A fat one tryin’ to be a skinny one

Different strokes for different folks

And so on and so on and scooby-dooby-dooby

We got to live together” Sly and the Family Stone

As a medical intuitive healer it’s my job to empower people to understand what’s really going on with your health.

Why do you feel so bad?

Why exactly are you so exhausted?

What started this mess?

And, most importantly, what can you do to feel better?

The most selfish thing I can ever do is to be kind, loving and considerate to everyone around me.

Why is that so important?

Every thought I think, every feeling I feel, creates a ripple of energy.

It’s called karma.

When I radiate kindness, goodness, tolerance and self control, that’s exactly what comes back to me.

The law of karma is like gravity.

I don’t have to understand gravity, have taken courses about it in school or pass a test to understand the laws of physics that make gravity true.

It just works.

I don’t have to understand karma, have heard of karma, had karma explained to me in Sunday School.

It just works.

The simplest way to understand karma is that whatever you put out into the universe is exactly what comes back to you.

That’s why whenever possible I hope I can muster the strength to spread kindness, goodness, tolerance, peace, understanding, good will to all.

“And to discriminate only generates hate

And when you hate then you’re bound to get irate

Madness is what you demonstrate

And that’s exactly how hate works and operates

Man, we gotta set it straight

Take control of your mind and just meditate

And let your soul just gravitate to the love

So the whole world celebrate it” Black Eyed Peas

I’ve been wanting to write this article for some time explaining how hatred affects your body.

So here it is – with a little help from Mother Theresa, Sly and the Family Stone, the Black Eyes Peas, Gerald Jampolsky and his wife fellow author Diane Cirincione or whomever will get the message across.

Hopefully one of us will get through to you.

Every thought you think, every feeling you feel affects an acupuncture meridian in your body and an organ.

You can understand more about how the emotions you feel affect each and every single major organ in your body by consulting the free chart at this link.

“My peace comes only from within me. It cannot come from anywhere else.” Gerald Jampolsky and Diane Cirincione

The organ most badly affected by hatred is your heart.

The acupuncture meridian most commonly blocked by hate is your heart meridian.

In Chinese medicine, your heart is referred to as the emperor of your body.

Where I came from there’s an expression, “If Mama ain’t happy, nobody’s happy.”

Same could be said of your heart.

If your heart ain’t happy, you’re not happy, you’re not healthy.

You don’t have good energy.

You don’t have good circulation.

You don’t have much personal power in the world because your heart radiates more energy than your brain and a truly loving heart entrains everyone and everything in its vicinity.

My mentor in healing puts it this way, “You either open your heart or a surgeon will open it for you.”

When your heart is open you are capable of giving and receiving love.

You enjoy healthy blood pressure since anger and anxiety are the primary emotions that drive up your systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

This is a scientific medical fact you can read about at this link.

And here.

When your heart is closed you are either punishing yourself or protecting yourself.

You can’t understand why no one wants to date you, why you feel so alone in the world, why everything you do feels like such an uphill battle.

You can’t understand other people because your heart is a major organ of intelligence, the center of your emotional intelligence, and you feel deeply misunderstood.

You’re exhausted.

You’ve lost your enthusiasm for life.

You don’t see the purpose for anything.

You’ve lost your reason why.

Worst of all, when your heart is closed, you don’t know who you are any more, you don’t know why you’re here and you may feel depressed all the way to the soul level.

“What happened to the love and the values of humanity?

(Where’s the love?)

What happened to the love and the fairness and equality?

(Where’s the love?)

Instead of spreading love we’re spreading animosity

(Where’s the love?)

Lack of understanding leading us away from unity

(Where’s the love?)” Black Eyed Peas

The second organ and acupuncture meridian probably most affected by hated is your liver.

When you feel hatred, it’s because something or someone has  made you angry.

You feel bitter, enraged, frustrated and resentful.

In your mind, you have projected a scenario where you see yourself as a victim and someone, something, some big supposedly more powerful force out there in the world is your perpetrator, your personally chosen Bad Guy.

When your liver is blocked on the physical level, you feel toxic.

Your thyroid function starts to decline, since T4 gets converted into T3 in the liver.

You suffer from allergies.

You get cancer.

When your liver is open, you feel happy, creative and you are open to positive transformation in your life.

You express kindness to everyone you meet.

You are content with your life and paradoxically rather than being stuck in a rut like you were when your liver was overloaded with hatred you are open to whatever path your soul wants to lead you.

“I am not a victim of the world I see.” Gerald Jampolsky and Diane Cirincione

As I was writing this article lying in my hammock on a comfortably warm Saturday afternoon in December, I found myself feeling more and more irritated by the professional landscapers next door piercing the quiet with the high decibel pitch of their leaf blowers.

“Perfect!” I thought to myself.

“I hate those darn leaf blowers!”

So what do we do when we discover ourselves falling into the trap of victim-perpetrator, feeling angry at the world, hating what we really can’t do anything about?

My go-to all purpose fool-proof remedy is forgiveness.

I’ve written extensively about forgiveness mantras at this link.

And I explained how you can heal four major organs in your body by practicing forgiveness at this link.

“I’m so sorry leaf blowers!

Please forgive me leaf blowers!

I love you leaf blowers!

Thank you leaf blowers!”

I really do have to have a good laugh at myself sometimes.

We really do have to have a good laugh at ourselves – laughing opens our heart, restores perspective and shifts us out of hatred.

“I am no better and neither are you

We’re all the same, whatever we do

You love me, you hate me

You know me and then

You can’t figure out the bag I’m in

“I am everyday people

“There is a long hair

That doesn’t like the short hair

For being such a rich one

That will not help the poor one

Different strokes for different folks

And so on and so on, scooby-dooby-dooby

We got to live together” Sly and the Family Stone

Next time you get diagnosed with cancer, you could wonder if you’ve been eating toxic food or drinking too much alcohol or you could ask yourself who or what you’ve been hating for so long that it’s about to kill you.

Next time you find yourself exhausted, ask yourself how you could love a little more – love yourself, love the people around you and put your whole heart into your life.

“People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
“If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
“If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies. Succeed anyway.
“If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you. Be honest and frank anyway.
“What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight. Build anyway.
“If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
“The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow. Do good anyway.
“Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
“You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God. It was never between you and them anyway.” Mother Theresa

What is healing? Healing happens when you stop hating yourself and everyone around you and make a choice to practice unconditional love.
