This is How to Love Your Heart

Every Valentine’s Day I like to share how you can heal your heart naturally.

Whether you are with your loved one, feeling desperately alone, suffering from high blood pressure, recovering from bypass surgery or wanting to prevent a heart attack, follow these simple steps to boost your heart energy:

  1. Wear green or pink
  2. Avoid hydrogenated fats
  3. Carry your baby picture
  4. Stop microwaving any food or drink
  5. Exercise every day
  6. Meditate
  7. Be brave and tell others what you really love about them
  8. Set your intention that nothing comes in and nothing goes out of your energy field except unconditional love
  9. Silently wish everyone well when you pass them on the street
  10. Juice green leafy vegetables
  11. Take time to exhale
  12. Take time to relax every day
  13. Let someone else win the argument
  14. Have the courage to say what you really mean
  15. Love what you do, love the people you work with
  16. Say thank you
  17. Cook a healthy meal for your family, pouring all the love you have for them into every dish
  18. Forgive yourself by repeating the forgiveness mantra
  19. Use the forgiveness mantra to practice forgiving others even if it feels difficult
  20. Let other people off the hook while when you witness someone making  a mistake – remember nobody is perfect
  21. Drink 12 to 20 ounces of fresh organic juices or smoothies every day
  22. Eat okra  -it has a special fiber that cleans your arteries
  23. Make a list of persons you have harmed and become willing to make amends to them all
  24. Lift weights – you will get a cardiovascular workout better for you than running
  25. Practice yoga, tai chi and qi gong
  26. Roll your shoulders back, expand your chest and slide your shoulder blades towards your waist
  27. Laugh a lot
  28. Listen to Solfeggio harmonics at 538 Herz, the frequency that heals the heart
  29. Pray to God and ask for a gentle release of all your heart scars
  30. Use pink Himalayan sea salt – high in minerals and good for you even if you have high blood pressure
  31. Ditch traditional table salt
  32. Adopt an animal from the pet rescue
  33. Create a spiritual family out of your assorted friends who really do love you
  34. Allow time to do absolutely nothing except stare out of the window, enjoying the view
  35. Ask your soul what you really want to do when you grow up
  36. Cut the cords to all your ex boyfriends and ex girlfriends so you have space to create new relationships, blessing them for all they have taught you
  37. Ask your friends to make a list of 20 qualities they love about you
  38. Say “I am sorry” to someone you have hurt
  39. Write yourself a love letter
  40. Keep a daily gratitude list
  41. Use your hands to create something – knit a scarf, make a pie
  42. Play the F note, the healing note for the heart
  43. Practice fish, camel, bridge, wheel, cobra, child, upward facing dog, triangle and balancing half moon yoga poses
  44.   45. Diffuse lavender, jasmine or rose oil
  46. Play a musical instrument
  47. Make yourself vegetable soup to build up your immune system
  48. Cook a hot meal for yourself and a dear friend
  49. Take your old clothes to Goodwill or the Salvation Army, passing along your old belongings with your intention that they reach the people who need them
  50. Get out of your head and really listen from your heart to someone who is sad or upset
  51. Hug and be hugged
  52. Feed the homeless
  53. Balance giving and receiving in your own life
  54. Plant a flower
  55. Walk through a garden and take time to smell the flowers
  56. Do the right thing even if it scares you
  57. Look into the eyes of someone you love and allow yourself to connect with them fully on all levels
  58. Activate your heart ray by consciously but silently directing the energy from your heart out into the world when you see people who need love and healing
  59. Practice listening from your heart rather than your head
  60. Enjoy physical intimacy and make love to your partner setting your intention to connect on every level
  61. Notice how much love other people put into the work they do, no matter how insignificant the task appears to be
  62. End your emails with “Love and light,” setting your intention to send out the highest frequencies
  63. Affirm: I LOVE MYSELF JUST THE WAY I AM
  64. Affirm: I HAVE NOTHING TO GIVE OR RECEIVE BUT UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
  65. Affirm: I ALLOW MYSELF TO BE LOVED
  66. Affirm: I DESERVE TO BE LOVED
  67. Affirm: THERE IS AN INFINITE SUPPLY OF LOVE IN MY LIFE
